I hope everyone who had to deal with this is safe. Best thoughts for quickly getting back to some kind of normal.

5 years, er I mean days ago when the storm started my salt level was 3300-3400 (honestly don't remember exactly).
After 30" of rain in 7600 Gal pool, Accucheck strip says salt is at 1580. Less accurate strip said 1500-2000 I didn't run SWG during the storm. Does that Accucheck reading sound right? We only have 20lbs of salt on hand so will have to buy much more this evening, along with more stabilizer and baking soda (unless soda ash will work to raise TA) Still have some before I started TFP method.

Also, I hope I didn't mess anything up, but I shut down SWG and started treating pool as though bleach is the chlorine source.
We were lucky to get a few breaks in the rain that we could add bleach and run the pump for 2-4 hours (for fear pump might flood) during breaks in the rain. I knew CYA was getting lower during overflow, but still kept FC on the high end because I wasn't sure and at one point at CC was 1.5. Couldn't test daily, but my pool is still sparkling clear.

FC = 10
CC = 0 !!!!
Ph = 7.2
CYA is under 30 so FC is probably at shock level or above
TA = 60

I will not add anymore bleach today, but will test again this evening before trying to rebalance.

So next step is to add salt this evening, leave pump running 24hr and supplement with bleach until SWG is safe to turn back on.
Also will add CYA and shoot for 60 since I'm not really sure how low it really is. Probably 0.

Any advice on how to do this better is appreciated. I'm still not confident with SWG pool and we've had an awfully wet summer.

Thanks in advance!

I think you plan of action sounds perfect. The only thing I would change is not worrying about TA. Most only need to adjust it when pH is creeping up or the rare occasion it gets too low. The recommended range is 60-80 so if you fill water has high TA you will be bringing back up next time you need to add water.

Thanks. My TA is almost always 70 even when we have to add water due to evaporation. My Ph usually runs around 7.6-7.7 so the 7.2 had me a bit concerned.
