Yes I am new to pool ownership, in Feb 2017 the family bought a short-sale house that had a concrete pond in the back yard. According to the neighbors house and pond had been vacated for over 28 months. However I found the pond full of life - Frogs, Water fowl an occasional Heron and Crane from time to time. I think I even had a nice Owl trolling for dinner several nights. In April I manage to uncover the filth and evicted the wildlife to find it was really a pool - I have to say that was not a pleasant task and I am sure that I probably caught something the doctor will tell me about later. Finally last week and a college tuition semesters spent. We have now opened our pool, new vinyl liner, new pump, new filter, new SWG. Details are below - hope to get to know more of you as we go.
