Gunite pool

So purchased a house with a gunite pool. Pool was closed for two years.

Opened it this year, we did empty to clean it up so many frogs turtle.
So started pressure washing it as much as I could.

Would you do anything specific to the pool before filling with water?

Pool.company coming to do pressure test on all pipes so hopefully they will flush it i assume

If you have scale build-up this certainly would be the time to do it. Just be careful about leaving the pool empty too long. I'm not familiar with your area, but you don't want to pool to lift-up on you due to an elevated water table.
