Green pool

With 3 or 4 different days of rain recently, my pool water has turned clear green. I had my FC at shock level right before the first rain (new pool water) This morning FC was 7 after the OCLT which was 7.5 last night. Cya last night was 65-70. I don't feel like I have algae. It has tons of dirt on the bottom from the winds blowing. Can this make the water look green? Can not vacuum until I get my sand filter installed tomorrow night!!! Have a birthday swim party Saturday 7/8!! Help!! What do I do???? (Using Mobil device so haven't changed my signature)

Since you have a pool party real soon, SLAM Processthe pool. Since the CYA test is +/- 15 margin of error, you might want to stay just above your target range via [FC/CYA][/FC/CYA]. (target FC range for cya 70 is FC 8-10 and you let yours go down to 7, which while still above suggested min, might not be high enough to avoid algae in your pool right now).
Bring it up to FC 28 and keep it there until clear. Just be careful adding the day before the party not to go over FC 28 so it is still safe to swim. You should see daily improvement and we'll know if it was algae by tomorrow if you start the slam today! Go buy some 8.25% bleach or chlorinating liquid (10-12.5% bleach)!

Run pump on circulate if it can do that today, or brush well to mix/stir in the bleach.

If you can safely remove the debris using a net without hurting the liner, that will save you a few bucks on bleach, or just vac it tomorrow.
