Sharing some solutions i found on etsy for my Intex above ground pool.
1. We have a Hayward through the wall skimmer and associated return eye, so that we can get better flow and cleaning. Love it. The problem was attaching the intex vacuum to the hayward return eye — i used a pump adapter but the threads did not quite match others have jerry-rigged many solutions that almost but dont quite work. Enters Etsy and this guy who 3D prints the right adapter. Works great:

2. Part of the same conversion, I connected the solar heater to the old intake holes to make a circuit using tbe original pump. This worked, but the hoses were a bit wonky coming out of the pool. Etsy’s solution? A 3D printed hose support system:
Full disclosure on this one, I can’t find the original link but this looks functionally similar to mine. It protects the liner and the hose. Here’s mine before and after:

Hope this helps someone, as well as the vendors on Etsy. I can also say that the first vendor was super fast and helpful in the process, looking to make sure the adapter worked well for me.
