I have been creeping on this site for a few years and have finally registered. I upgraded my above ground pool this year and for the life of me cannot figure out why the heck Intex has to make things so complicated. My $100 pool, 12x36 had an wall skimmer. The upgrade, Intex 16 x 48 has no skimmer, some weird intake holes and NO SKIMMER. So I did buy the over the wall skimmer and IT SUCKS (pun intended). Tomorrow I will be installing the Hayward skimmer because, I narrowly avoided an green pool bloom due to 1 week of crazy Florida heat and bad circulation. Will waste vacuum prior to installing. Looking forward to much more help now that I am registered!

yeah, my 22’ intex doesn’t have a skimmer either. Two outlets to pump with plastic screens. Was going to mount a good one last year but we are upgrading next year anyway.
