I just picked up 6 4x12 FAFCO panels. So I am in the process of plumbing it all up. I'm looking at the GL-235, I have a Hayward Aqua-Rite already and figured staying in the same "family" would be benefial in the long run. I intend on getting a secondary relay to turn my 2 Speed Panel to high when a call to heat is made. I've seen some write ups here on the forum to accomplish that.
Does anyone know the difference between the newer GL-235 and the GLC-2P-A. I can find a complete kit for the older Goldline series for about 285. I'm finding the newer kits with the same components for about 400. If I'm going to need to add the relay to automatically switch to hi, does the newer one offer any features that justifies 115?
