Getting a used saltwater pump with sand filter

I have a 18x9x4 metal frame pool and plan on getting a used sand and saltwater filter. I only want to get the sand filter because I think it’ll be much easier to set up and I heard saltwater system causes frames to rust, so I want to know if I can just use the sand filter alone Although it’s a unit or can someone help me determine based on the pictures I have attached Thanks in advance

I don’t see a salt cell, but it’s hard to tell in those photos. However, the pump/filter combo with salt can be run without activating the salt cell.

By the way, salt isn’t the culprit in rusting, moisture is.
