Garden hose for Solar heater.

I found a decent deal on FB for some Sun Heater 2x20 heaters. I have a seperate 10.4 gpm pump that is fitted for garden hose. The panels would sit about 40' from my pool. Wondering if the garden hose would work the the panels or would I need convert to 1.5"?

Also any tips for repairing holes in these type heaters? Thanks

As for flow, I'd try it and see how it works. If it doesn't work with the smaller flow, you can change over later.

The slower the flow, the less efficient solar heating is. The garden hose solution may work, but if you're feeling the hose heat up then you're losing a lot of heat that you'd rather have going to your pool.

Most panels don't connect to garden hose. You will need an adapter.
