Found in my filter basket

My pool is 2 years old. I found this in my filter basket a few days ago. It looks to be plaster and has an outside shape of a pvc pipe. Light weight and somewhat brittle. I’m thinking it might be the plasterers may not have had a drain sealed good during construction. Is it common to have construction debris show up 2 years later? Is it something I need to be concerned about?
