Forum navigation: Most recent posts?

Hi! There is so much information on here going back YEARS, and I was wondering if there is a way to limit a forum search to a certain date range? Or to just put them in order from most recent threads then going back in time? I am researching equipment and seeing the info about current models that have been discussed first would be the most useful -- I do not want to get repetitive and start new threads just because I'm clueless on how to get to the threads that might already be here. Thanks again for everyone's help and suggestions!

There actually is now a "newer than" and an "older than" feature in the advanced search:

Perfect, Thanks @Newdude and @mgtfp I just never noticed the advanced search option at all!

It's not easy to find on a mobile device. This workaround works for me to get there on my phone:
- Do a dummy search (can even be an empty search). That leads you to the page "google search results".
- Then you hit "< search"
- Then "SEARCH EVERYTHING"

More straight forward to get to on a normal computer. Once you click into the search field, you get the "advanced" option.
