We went with granite. It's a great stone for this application and - given the size - it was easy to get a great price on a remnant size. What type of stone did you use foe the spa spillover? I have as similar color travertine with a light cool stacked stone but I still have to pick a stone for the spillover. Looking for ideas... Thanks!
The travertine is looking great at nearly 2 years in. 1.25" bullnose for the coping.txnole: how is the travertine holding up? Is that 1.25" travertine coping? Any recommendations on sealers.
btw- I'm originally from Jax, but I bleed orange and blue.
Not to shill, but TravertineMart was fantastic. The delivery was really good; the driver forked it to exactly where I asked on the side yard to assist the masons. I'm as happy with them as anyone in our build.I haven't spoken with Travertinemart yet as we are still nailing down selections and wondering how they handled the delivery. Did they unload the material in the driveway? Did you need to arrange a forklift, etc?
I like the height of the spa. The design specified 18", but it seems lower...what is the height of the spa relative to the patio?
