Thanks to the help from all you kind folks here my pool is currently “trouble free”.
For the last two years though, I would have an algae problem in the hot summer months; mostly in August. Algae would grow on the side of the pool that gets the morning sun. This was aggravated by the very warm pool water eating chlorine tabs like candy and my occasionally forgetting to add tabs on time.
Now I have the salt cell, so adding tabs won’t be a problem, but I’m wondering if I should take preventative measures to head off the algae.
Any thoughts?
