Kids are grown and it’s time to size up our AGP so we’re REALLY sizing up. The 22x12’s have the same factory setup as our little 12 footer…two discharges (I understand why) and one return. My question is with just the skimmer and the return as we have it now on our round pool, will this be adequate for circulation? Should I cut the skimmer in opposite or at least far away from the return?

Interestingly the new pool has what at a glance appears to be a “proper” skimmer. I’ll have a better look at how it’s to be hooked up.
