Fish out of water

So I got my new robot... worked great on the first run although it didn't clean the steps. I didn't really expect it to though.

After the second run, I came out to find this. I'm pretty sure it did the whole cycle. I checked the security camera, and about two hours after it started, the little guy drove to this spot and the light stopped blinking. Is this... normal?

Probably just finished it’s cycle. The last two runs of my robot happened to finish on my steps too. Odd, but just a coincidence.
