Hey all thanks for all your help so far.

Using taylor k2006-salt kit and all tests are looking fine except 2 things.

TA test seems like its turning from green to a pink and not necessarily a red.
Cya test - should the black dot be completely gone or just when it first starts to get blurry?

Here are my results.

FC - 3.8
CC-0
PH- 7.4
TA - 40
Calcium - 70
Cya- 25 (Best guess)
salt - 2200

Only thing i have lined up right now is I just added about 7 bags of salt as my SWG recommends about 4k ppm to max efficiency and i have about 12lbs of baking soda ready to raise the TA. I plan on adding this once the 24 hours goes by to retest the salt.

Any other suggestions? TIA

Welcome to TFP! About your tests:
- TA will go Barbie pink, not a true red. A TA of 40 is a bit low, so add about 20 ppm worth of baking soda to increase it a little.
- Salt pools do better with a higher CYA of about 70 ppm. Since you have "some" in there now, I would only add about 30 ppm of stabilizer via the sock method. That should get you close and help preserve your FC.

Other than those two items, keep an eye on the FC to ensure it doesn't fall too low. Always go to the FC/CYA Levels to avoid algae. Hope that helps.
