First Time Pool Owner

Hey y'all, this is my first time owning a pool and we finally added the salt today. I was surprised it took 16 40lb bags, hopefully we'll get to take the first plunge next week weather permitting(temps like a yoyo here). Looking forward to learning from all the knowledgeable members here.

Hey bobo, it's 36,000 gal. and we're shooting for around 3200 ppm at least that's what I'm told.

Thanks for the welcomes, as far as test kits I have a Lamotte 2058 kit my wife bought me for Christmas, I wish she would have told me first as it's probably a little overkill for what I need. Planning on becoming a supporter of TFP as there is a wealth of knowledge to help a pool rookie like myself.
