We are in NC near the SC upstate, so we have decently mild winters. We will have some nights below freezing but not too many. With the pool just being finished, we'd like to keep it open all year this year for sure. We have a 30k gallon, 18-22/40, vinyl liner, SWG pool. Do I just keep the SWG going a little each day, keep testing my levels, brushing and vacuuming like normal? What temperature outside and/or water temperature is my key number to continuously run the pump to prevent issues?

Yes. Depending on the cell, if your water gets below somewhere around 50-55, it will stop chlorinating. Watch for it and use liquid chlorine.

Water temps around 34-36, or air temps are forecasted below 34.
