Our new pool (11,000 gallon, plaster finish, saltwater with a spa) was completed in April, 2022. Since my husband and I both have chemistry backgrounds, we didn't see any reason to pay someone else to look after our pool. I have been learning as I go, picking and choosing advice from various sources and sites. I just happened upon this site last week and found it to have a lot of useful information with good reasoning. So far, I haven't had any issues keeping our pool sparkling, but it's nice to know this is a place to come for advice from experienced pool owners.
