First time owner (3yrs now) and closed my pool service company account

Hi,

My family and I moved to Tampa 3 years ago and we bought a home with a pool. I finally took over all pool chemistry and maintenance from the pool service company. I recently added a pool heater and redid my pool equipment pad to make it as efficient as possible with 2" piping, energy efficient elbows, energy efficient Hayward SelectaFlo High-Efficiency DE Filter Valve, etc. Hoping to learn more techniques here to keep my pool running costs low.
