Hello all! I have a mesh cover and when we opened Tuesday the pool was green! I checked ph/alk and got them to par, then shocked the Crud out of the pool, brushed, vac and lots of Backwash. I’ve gotten the pool blue now, but it’s very cloudy. Levels are reading good, have been running pump 24/7 since Tuesday. Any suggestions what needs to be done to get it clear? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to TFP! Here at TFP we follow the SLAM Process to completely kill & remove algae. To perform a SLAM Process it's important to have a proper test kit. Do you have a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C? If not, be sure to make that a priority. Also be sure to update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info. You should also bookmark our Pool Care Basics that has everything in one place regarding pool and water care.

If you have any questions about the SLAM Process let us know. Post some water test result with your TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C kit and we can coach you through the SLAM Process.

Enjoy the forum. :swim:
