Where’s the other end?
No that is one that split and I got the pool company out to replace it and he just tossed it under the pool deck it’s the one in the picture I enclosed. The one with the red circle

Do You have more than what is in this photo?

So they are both returns..? But I still have to remove both hoses. How do I remove the bottom hose? Just unclamp it and pull it off? There’s nothing to disconnect on the inside? I have wandered off into left field. I am so ignorant of all of this. But I’m in the middle of it now and I must finish
Other than what is in the picture No just the skimmer on the left

So they are both returns..?
It appears so.
But I still have to remove both hoses.
Correct.
How do I remove the bottom hose?

1) Loosen the clamp a little.

2) Unscrew the black fitting from the wall.

3) screw in plug to stop water.
I am so ignorant of all of this
Full stop.

Take a breath.

None of us had a clue for our first rodeo, and many of us got tossed. We got you.

Rodeo #2 is a breeze, I promise. :)

Yes - they are both returns.
I suggest you drain the pool down below the top return & do as instructed in this picture - this is the easiest path.
