As this is my first ‘proper’ test with the K-2006C and K-1766, could you recommend anything at all? I see the TA is high - can this cause any problems for me?Targets are as follows:

FC 4 - 11
CC 0
pH 7.2 - 7.8
TA 60 - 80
CH 0 - 300
CYA 70 - 80
SALT 2500 - 3500
TEMP warmer!

Thanks

Tony

As Marty said, your PH will rise with the higher TA. As you keep adjusting your PH down, your TA will drop. Eventually your TA will hit your pools "Sweet Spot" (you will notice little to no change in PH)!!!

As an example, I know my pools "Sweet Spot" is a TA of 70. When I open in the spring, I adjust to get to that point and rarely have to adjust PH throughout the season (unless there is LOTS of aerating do to kids splashing, pool slide running, etc)

Good Luck and Enjoy !!!

Thank you for your replies. I will monitor the pH and TA closely and act accordingly. It would be good to be able to leave it to lower on its own over time with use - we shall see what happens.
