Moved into a new house with a 45k rectangular gunnite/plaster pool (fixed speed pump, sand filter) I'm in MS where the temps are hanging in the 50-75 range during the day

pool is sitting about 60 degrees

I had it fully drained to get some leaky cracks and refilled it a few weeks back

I've thrown a few gallons of chlorine in before travelling but otherwise haven't had a chance to keep it up

got back and I'm down here long term and it's time to get it going

chlorine test showed zero chlorine (never turned pink) - I dumped it into my sink to rinse out and the sink water turned immediately pink

so it looks like my pool is currently chlorine free!

just looking for how much chlorine I should start with adding to the pool to get things going
