First post / first pool / got the test kit!

First off, thank you guys for making a great forum!

I bought the TF-SaltPro kit from the forum vendor! Great guy. The kit is beautiful. See the pics!

Pool has been up for about three weeks. Prior to learning about SLAM I ummmm sterilized the pool water with liquid chlorine until it went crystal clear. Then I learned the SLAM sequence.

Just a small above ground pool 3300 gallons. Plan to use SWG, but haven’t turned it on yet due to high FC. Water is crystal clear currently.

Here are my test results as of right now:
Water temp 79.3
Cya - 110-120
Ph - 7.9
Chlorine - orange not on scale
Salt - 3060
Ta - 150-160
Ch - 50-75
Fc - 77
Cc - 0 - .5

So, I know my chlorine level is way high. I know cya is also a little high. The pool math says to put some muriatic acid in to bring ph and TA down a touch. I’m thinking I want to drain a little water and refill to get my cya level to 80-90. After that retest and wait on Chlorine level to come down.

Hey there Justin, great to hear you're onboard with a GREAT test kit already and that the water is "....ummmmm steralized" clear
Not quite the way we like to advise folks but what's done is done.

I'd say drain by half to no more than 3/4 and refill. Retest and lets see where your are then. Still sparkling clear, I bet.
We can deal with anything then.
