Fire pits- How much do you really use it? Worth it?

A fire pit is the perfect spot to warm up after your swim, and it creates a great entertainment center for family and guests. However, I'm more into wood pits. Because they can produce a fire larger than a gas burner, wood pits are usually the best choice for the most heat. To some, wood fires smell as good as they look, but to others, the smoke, and particulates they emit go beyond nuisance to health hazard. I read here https://firerecruitmentaustralia.com.au that compared to gas, wood pits are safer. I have been using them for 3 years now.

My parents built a covered screened in porch with an insulated roof and an outdoor wood burning fireplace back in the 90s. It’s awesome and they spend the majority of their time out there year round. My wife and I have a cheap fire pit we got at a charity auction. We have used it a few times. No comparison between the two. To the OP, a fireplace in your pavilion is the way I would go….

We have the Solo Stove and used it many times in the fall last year. With pool build this summer we didn't use it but will use in the fall again once the pool is done. 64765521629__81A8A0E5-1370-4EA3-A786-AD534AD763C7.jpeg
