Not to hijack the thread, but have you considered getting your TA to a level that helps stabilize your pH?

Mariane, i agree, alkalinity is essential for pH stability.... was referring to my emotions acting similar to bouncing pH in need of alkalinity.....

Yes I’ve been working on it and it’s a process since I’m using dry acid versus muriatic acid. When I first filled my pool, my TA was 240!!!!! It is now 120 so I’m headed in the right direction it’s just taking longer than I’d like lol
