Filter cleaning

Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble keeping my accordion filter clean for any length of time. I just bought a back up one so I can be deep cleaning one while the other one is in use, and I usually deep clean with a couple of dishwasher pods or powder dishwasher cleaner, but I’m wondering if there’s something that cleans the accordion filter better? Thanks!

Not being able to keep a filter clean, particularly a cartridge filter is a sign of algae, even if you can't see it.

How are you testing your water?

I have the testing kit and no ccs and all the tests have been good this year so far
