Filter clean

Hello,

I have a sand filter. When I go to Home Depot, I see they have a filter cleaner stuff.

Is this good to use? Is it required to do this or only regular backwash?
Are you using filter cleaner stuff on your side??

No need to spend your money on any of that stuff. As long as no pool store products like floc or clarifiers compromised the quality of the sand, a thorough sand "Deep Clean" is all you need to keep the sand in optimal condition for filtering throughout the season.
