This feature would be similar to the "effect of adding chemicals" calculator, except now it's "effect of water replacement".

For example: If my fill water has a CH of 90, and my pool water has a CH of 900, there are two questions I might ask:

A. How many gallons would I have to replace with fill water to reduce CH to 400?
B. How much would my CH be reduced by replacing 20,000 gallons with fill water?

It would additionally be nice if I could record my fill water measurements under the profile for my pool, so that these values could be auto-populated in the calculator. However, since I may choose to buy water in bulk from someone else for a particular refill, it should also be possible to modify PH, TA, CH, BOR, SALT, etc., right there in the calculator page as well. I'm assuming that fill water would always have FC 0, CC 0 and CYA 0, but I suppose it's possible one might transfer water between pools.

Hey! Thanks for the suggestions! Might be a nice touch!

A. How many gallons would I have to replace with fill water to reduce CH to 400?
For quick and dirty, click on CH from main page, enter 400 for target, you get "reduce by 58%. Round to 60. Divide your 27K by 2 and add 10% = 13,500 (50%) + 2,700 (10%) =16,200 gallons. Done!
B. How much would my CH be reduced by replacing 20,000 gallons with fill water?
For quick and dirty, 7K (remaining CH water)/ 27K (pool volume) = 25% of the CH left...so 25% of 900 = 225.

With a premium subscription ($8 for the *year*) you can record your fill water as 2nd pool. It won't auto translate into any measurements on the 1st pool, but at least it will be easily refrencable when you need.
