FC loss 24hrs what is "normal"

This really varies per tub, based on how often It’s used, if it has biofilm, ozone, uv etc.
Overtime the “standby” fc consumption will gradually increase as the water ages & fills with dissolved solids.
It’s possible that some of that loss is from bather waste from the most previous use. Many people have tried to gauge it by purging & refilling and then not using the tub for a week but testing/ adding chlorine daily so they have a standby baseline. But like I said- its a moving target with many variables involved. Most people don’t get a spa to NOT use it lol 😆 my suggestion is to dose to the high target 🎯 for your cya or a dab higher after use to be sure you are allowing plenty of fc to remain as residual until your next use after bather waste is consumed. Skirting minimum on the regular is a recipe for disaster as things proliferate rapidly in a hot tub.

that is kind of what I was doing already but just wanted to get a general idea of what people were seeing. so far in 17 days of owner ship I think we have missed 3 days of use and two of those were the tuesday and wednesday of this week. so I don't really know what my baseline is but so far I have figured out that 35ml of 10.5 % chlorine per person per hour is a pretty good amount of post soak shock. Mine is a plain tub no ozone or UV.

I suspect you will notice your standby demand will lower after your Ahhsome purge/refill. This is a common theme.
