I have a pecan tree directly arching over my pool. I have fought with pools for years. Should I give up? I mean is it senseless to have a pool under a tree? I have leaf nets but theyre so big its hard for 1 person to shake them out. Pool covers keep filling with water and leaves. Also I can't figure out how to connect this vacuum to the pump.

That “vac” is a pressure side cleaner- it connects to the return jet. You will need to modify the proprietary intex fitting so it attaches to your standard threads in your return (after removing the eye ball).

I built my pool 5 years ago. If I had to do it again I'd remove all the leaf dropping trees near the pool and replant evergreens or otherwise change the landscaping with leaves in mind.

My intex cleaner is the old version with the same fittings as all intex hoses, the newer models have a different fitting & a single hose instead of a bunch of small hoses- there’s a thread here that shows the fittings needed to connect it

How to get intex auto vac to hook up to standard return jet?!!
is there a fitting that i can hook up to intex screw on couplers to a standard pool return… bought both vacuums off Amazon to see if both are the same and they are. They have a 1.5 hose with an coupler that screws on and off to a black plastic coupler that screws on to intex return… i do not...
