I've had a Hawyard T-Cell 940 on my pool since fall of 2020. This year, I started noticing a need to increase its output to keep up with FC demand.
Long story short, I believe the cell is failing. I've done OCLTs, inspected the cell, cleaned it, etc. I also confirmed yesterday via testing that the actual salt level is at 3400.
When my cell is in the K1 polarity, it's reading the salt levels much lower than they are. I've attached 2 pics to show that's it getting worse. On July 27th, it was measuring about 1840 (54%), today it's at 735 (22%.)
Since I've doubled the output, it's still making enough chlorine and keeping up with my FC demand so my questions are:
Do I just keep letting it slowly die since it's keeping up with demand?
Will it putter out or will it just stop working one day?
Thanks!
