Equipment Upgrade is Finally Happening!

I wouldn't worry too much about the OCLT this evening unless you just really want to out of curiosity. Tomorrow start fresh with testing, definitely get the stabilizer soaking in a sock to increase the CYA to 30 for now, and then move forward with your SLAM as needed to take care of that dullness. Air in the basket? ...... ideally no. At least not on high anyways once it's been cranked-up for about a minute or so. Some pumps can show a little air over time when on low, but the high speed kicks the bubbles out. If you are seeing constant air under the lid, check for the easy things like the lid O-ring and pump drain plug O-rings lubed with pool silicone lube (NOT petroleum jelly), all suction side fittings snug and sealed well. Water level good at the skimmer and not sucking-in any air. Things like that. Hope that helps.
