Easytouch booster pump control

I have an issue where my easytouch control only flashes despite having hit the reset button and entered manual start as well as timed start. I haven't opened the panel yet to see if a comm line is bad, hoping for some insight before I do so. It's set to run 0800-1200 daily and I've never seen it work. I need it to respond.

give us some more details on what you mean by "my easytouch control only flashes"... what is flashing?

what kind of booster pump do you have?

if it's just a single speed high pressure pump I would expect it to be controlled by a relay (and it might have a time delay set) rather than have a comm connection... unless it's an intelliflo?

Is it just waiting for the main pool pump to start??

No, the main pump us already running. It's one of the newer models polaris makes that looks like it has 4 impellers if that helps. They're very quiet but definitely not running

There is a 5 minute delay after the main pump starts or the Solar starts.

Automatic Pool Cleaner START Delay: Starts Cleaner Pump immediately, without normal delay in which the filter pump first runs for 5 minutes.

• Automatic Pool Cleaner SOLAR Delay: Allows Cleaner Pump to run even though solar delay has shut it off for 5 minutes.

The booster does not have a comm line.

Is the Filter Pump running from its own control or from the automation control.

The Automation needs to know that the main pump is on.

The Filter Pump LED needs to be on.
