We've had a lot of rain over the last few weeks. I've had to drain an inch or so of water from the pool several times. I use the opportunity to backwash the filter. Is it doing it any harm to leave it on the backwash setting until the water level is down where I want it? It only takes 30 seconds or so to backwash. Should I stop the pump and set the filter to waste to drain it?
