Drainage Issues

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but it saves us from a duplicate and I have been complicating this myself. My situation below. We are high compared to the neighbors. Pool will be below the deck. I think I should have some surface drainage or a French drain myself.

jeflogan, I see your post was seperated from the other thread a couple weeks ago, but you haven't received any replies as of yet. I wanted to check back to see if you made any progress on the drainage planning or if you still had any questions for the forum?
