Drain my bromine hot tub into my pool???

Stupid question

Is it ok to just drain my bromine hot tub water into my chlorine pool?

My pool is 40x20 and my hot tub is approx 7x7 with 1600L fill. Willl I be able to just rebalance my pool?

Adding bromine to a chlorine pool will turn it in to a bromine pool. And bromine pools are much harder to manage and test.

In fact, I'd not allow folks to go back and forth between the two to avoid bromine getting in to my pool. I'm extra cautious that way.

I'd drain the bromine spa in to the sewer and clean it out good and start it back up as a chlorine spa.
