DPD Reagents #0001 & #0002 getting used at different rates

I have been using a Taylor K-2004 kit for some time (just bought a K-2006). for the FC test for some reason the reagent R-0001 and R-0002 are getting used up at different rates even though I always have used 5 drops of each for each test.

Right now the R-0001 bottle is about 1/3 full yet the R-0002 bottle is almost empty. When I am adding drops to the tube the drops from the R-0001 seem smaller than the R-0002.

Had anyone else noticed this or do I maybe have a faulty dropper on one of he bottles.

each dropper bottle has a different drop rate.. the holes are not the same size as some need larger drops than others..
