Dolphin Triton Plus Pool Cleaner with PowerStream - Anyone Have It?

Hi all,

I'm shopping around for a robot cleaner and saw info about the new Dolphin Triton Plus Cleaner with PowerStream. I actually don't see a page for it yet on the Maytronics web site, so I'm thinking it just came out in the marketplace. Does anyone have any experience with it yet? It looks like they significantly revamped it vs. the 2016 model. I was previously looking at the 2016 Triton model and also at the Dolphin Premier.

Any opinions regarding this unit, or even about what you think the best robot is around the $1,000 to $1,500 range would be appreciated.

Hi there. Welcome to the world of Maytronics robot hype and their super marketing machine. They have two top line models. The M500 and the S300i. The Triton Plus is the equivalent of the S300, which is the mid level S series. Sounds like you want the highest level of either one. I would focus on the differences between the S300i and M500.

There are many varieties of the S series but all are twins of the three S models with minor differences. It's very confusing so don't try too hard to understand it. Triton Plus is not 'new' for 2017. That basic package with different names came out in late 2015 I believe. They use the different twins for different sales channels.

Marina Pool seems to be the best source now. You have to call to order but warranty is valid. They seem to provide great customer service. Also call for pricing though you'll see it in other threads.
