Anyone know of a way to factory default this thing to clear all settings?

I was trying to change its WiFi network and somehow got stuck in this limbo where it is still connected to the old WiFi network (can see it in network management app), but I cannot get it to reconnect to the app. Bluetooth connection from app will find it sometimes but never connect to it. I've tried every imaginable combination of resetting, power-cycling, app reinstalling, etc. No go.

I honestly don't use the app very much because 90% of the time it will not start the cleaning cycle, so I turn off and back on the Z-Wave outlet the robot it plugged into, starting the cleaning cycle.

Great pool cleaner, but the connectivity and app are garbage.

Their customer service has been pretty useless. "Disconnecting power cable and blue cable for 60 seconds will reset the unit". Nope. Plugged everything back in and watched it reconnect to my WiFi, same as before. Even confirmed with WiFi network app.

Apparently, there is no way to reset settings back to factory yourself. Rather unfortunate and disappointing. Not very customer-centric either.

I'll stick to turning it on and off via my Z-Wave I guess.

Yes.

I just want to clear the network settings out of the thing. It should not be this difficult. What device that connects to a network does not have a "default to factory settings" option? It's ridiculous.
Unfortunately the bells and whistles wifi aspect of those bots generally fails to live up to the hype & quite buggy.
Automation mode is the only fancy feature i desire in a bot.
Mine has run in automation mode since birth lol 😂

Yep. Having the Z-Wave outlet control the thing is probably my best bet.
I truly prefer it. On vacation and a bunch of leaves blow in? - run the bot with the press of a button!
Mine runs every day at 9am - it’s fantastic.
