I am considering quit using Pentair Legend Platinum cleaner (LL505PMG) and buy one of those electric corded pool robots.

Are they good at scrubbing sides of the pool?

Dolphin Nautilus is a bit cheaper than Polaris models. How do people compare these two brands?

Much appreciated!

I have had suction cleaners, in floor cleaning system, pressure cleaners, and robotic cleaners. Nothing beats a good robotic cleaner. Until last week I was using a Maytronics Dolphin S300. After 7 years of excellent cleaning, it died. Cost to repair would be over 50% or its original cost.
I have replaced it with an Aqua EVO 604 (it’s made by the parent company of Polaris). So far it seems to be on par with the Dolphin line as far as performance and quality. The cost was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the equivalent Dolphin product. Whether it will last 7 years, as did its predecessor remains to be seen. But for convenience and performance nothing beats a decent corded robotic cleaner.
