Hi,
1) while browsing through this forum to solve the issue with my Dolphin e40i
i saw error descriptions like „servo overload error“ or similar.
Where did you get these error codes/messages from?
The app „Dolphin plus“ (German app store) doesn‘t show any error messages.
At least i can‘t find them.

2) Some shops mention a water sensor for the motor unit.
„The engine, when it is set up, it must be tried underwater. If you try it out of water, it will work a few seconds, because it owns a special sensor.“
Never heard about it nor can find it within the unit.
Does anybody know about it?

regards
Al

Someone speculated "robot out of pool" to be associated with the pump motor sensor not sensing resistance of the water passing through the fan blade. Not enough resistance = not in the water.

It does not need a special sensor and it can be inferred by the motors operation.

Thanks, that‘s what i assumed.
My robot is running smooth now after i replaced the servo and
cleaned the impeller motor.
Costs: 6€ for the servo, instead of 500€ for the whole motor unit.

Just in case somebody needs to know:
The servo i used for replacement is a MG996R

regards,
Al
