Dolphin Active 30i stops working after one year use, any idea?

The cleaner has served my pool for a bit more than one year and finally failed. The power looks good, LED blinking as normal and I can even connect the robot cleaner on iPhone to setup clean cycles. Everything looks normal but cannot let it move at all, whatever by itself or by manual drive. The cleaner sits still in water.

The basket and impeller looks clean. The wheels and tracks can be rotated with my hand, though feeling some resistance.

Any idea for a quick check before talking to the customer service? I really hope it's not the motor problem.

Mine, S200/Dohenys discovery/active20, did that not too long after I got it. It powered up and moved just a little and nothing. Turned out to be the pump motor. The shop I took it to said it was the only one they've ever seen. I guess you got the second one! :) They replaced the motor for free and been great ever since.

Have done a bit diagnostic today and it turns out the wheel motor broken. The control circuit output 24V for a few seconds to the DC motor which showed no response, then 24V cut. Dragged out the DC motor and measured a 8ohm resistance across + and -, which I think wrong, as the motor is labeled 24V/0.6A so it's equivalent resistance should be around 40ohm. 8ohm means something short inside. Going to call the dealer for an exchange. Well I probably wont' tell the whole story to the dealer as I'm not sure if dissembling everything would void the warranty.

Thanks for the reply btw.
