Well, I decided after the rain california has been having that it would be a good time to drain the pool down a bit to get my CH down. Well, stupid me didn't think of the consequences of going below the return lines while not having any valves installed to prevent water coming back into the main drain from the skimmer from the dirty side..
So I guess my question is, my pool filter is DE and I was already planning on cleaning the filter to begin with. Would it be ok for me to turn the pump back on, vacuum this mess up back into the filter? Before this happened I technically had some time before i had to do a filter cleaning so I don't know if I need to immediately clean the filter or not after this accident. Please let me know the best way to approach this.
