Does SWG turn back on automatically?

We’ve had a few days of warm weather and my SWG temperature is above the minimum for what it needs to operate but I am still getting a low temperature message. Is this normal or does it need a few degrees above minimum to kick back on?

The sensors can be affected by more that just temperature. When it senses the proper conditions, it should recognize them.

I would turn it off, and chlorinate with liquid, until the temperature is reliable above the 51 degree min.

By turning it off, do you mean just setting output to 0%?

Thanks. For curiosity’s sake, does leaving it on (e.g. 10% output) cause any damage if it isn’t running due to temperature?

Personally, here in Georgia, my water is going to be cool still so I don't bother with the SWG until late spring. I just know I need to supplement with liquid chlorine once in while till it warms up. I turn mine off.
