Does FC increase more with lower pH

Hi all,

first time post, but have been reading on and loving the site. Quick question, using pool math for FC addition, does the FC increase more for a given added volume of 10% bleach if pH is 7.2 vs if added w pH 7.8? Same other parameters(except the decrease in TA as expected w pH decrease). Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

FC does not increase but kills bacteria faster with lower PH.

True without cya...but with cya in the water the kill rate doesn't change much with pH.
