Does cantilevered concrete stay gray?

So this may be a silly question, but if I got concrete coping, would the color stay gray? I look at my concrete driveway or patio that was just poured less then 2 years ago and it’s more of a beige. I love the look of a modern gray coping but only if it stays gray like a gray concrete planter. Thanks!

The natural color of concrete is a light gray/white color. If the color of the driveway or patio is beige, then it sounds like a color was added to the concrete mix or a color was broadcast onto the surface of the concrete.

Colors and stains can be added to concrete to make it whatever color you want.

My cantilever coping has a "Kool Deck" type surface and is a sort of light tan/beige color. It has stayed that exact color for over 25 years.

I suspect how porous and dirty concrete gets will be a factor in how gray it stays. Concrete also can be cleaned/power washed though that may not necessarily return old dirt ground concrete back to new.

I would believe that a hard troweled type finish would stay gray without issue if kept reasonably clean/dirt free.
