Do you put the cover on every night during the summer. We just got the square 14 by 14 intex pool it came with a cover but its super heavy seems like its more for winter.

We never cover ours anymore. There was a time when we used a solar cover at night to try to keep the water temp up. We've decided it isn't worth the work, our pool is warm enough most of the time.
When warm enough, no cover at night. The recent cold front has brought cool temps during the day and cooler than usual nights. This morning the pool was 68 degrees after two days uncovered. Threw it back on tonight.
i quit using my solar cover about 3 weeks ago. it is folded up for now, but i am sure i will bring it out again when it starts to cool off at night.
I don't cover mine except with my leaf net if it's going to be stormy or possibly if I'm going out of town..
I ask because we are in Texas the temps are off the charts and putting the cover on has made the water hotter than a bath tub we took the cover off this morning and the water is so hot it burns the skin. So i guess we should not be putting that cover on out here in this heat.
i am in a little north of you, and even with the cover off my temps get up to 90 degrees on most days. i run my sprayer during the early morning hours when it is the coolest to try and keep the temps down.
