Help please

I am a new pool owner
My pool is in ground gunite about 24000 gallons with a spa
I have passed my 30 days and am ready to switch over to salt water
The contracted pool company also recommends cv600 water enzyme and sc1000 scale control and metal chelant at the time they change me over to salt water. This will add a few hundred dollars to the set up charge based on how much they recommend based on the gallons of the pool.
Is this necessary or are they just trying to sell me stuff that I don’t really need? I don’t mind spending the money if it is considered to be good care for the pool
Thanks
Evan

Hi, welcome to TFP! With new pools and new plaster your warranty relies on following their instructions, even if they don't make sense. I'm, not sure about the water enzyme, but scale and metal control are commonly used with fresh plaster.
